WE NEED YOUR HELP

Can you imagine life without easy access to a computer, tablet, or phone? We all rely heavily on technology to stay in touch with friends, family, school, and work. We use telemedicine to reach out to our doctors, we order prescriptions, food, and other necessities online. (Almost) our entire support network, emotional and practical, can only be reached with the help of technology right now.

For some people not having easy access to a computer can mean being deprived of basic contact and support. This is why we have decided to expand our MTC- C.A.R.E’s Program, but we need your help.

MTC-C.A.R.E’s is nothing new. For the past two years we have been working with the Hudson Valley Vet2Vet Taskforce. By donating refurbished computers, we have been able to help local vets stay in touch with loved ones, look for job opportunities, enroll in online classes, connect with support resources, and so on. Now, in this time of need, we’d love to be able to reach out to additional local non-profits as well as local schools where some students still are not able to socialize with friends and family and participate in online learning programs simply because there is no computer in the home.

This is where you can help. If you happen to have a computer, monitor, and/or accessories at home or in your office that you no longer use or need, please let us know. We’d love to find a great new home for them!

How It Works

  • If your computer is less than 5 years old and in working condition, chances are it can be put to good use by someone else. Usually, the lifespan of a computer is seven to eight years.
  • If you can, include the keyboard, monitor, mouse, cables, and any other accessories that you may have used with the computer. They can almost always be utilized.
  • Keep a list of what you donate for your records. Computer donations are tax-deductible.
  • Fill out the form below if you would like to donate.
